Advice to Senior Management
give a chance to the talented employees, doesn't have to be always a VP to move up & up.
Pros
Bank of America really promotes growth within. Oppertunities are always open to transition to different departments. Bank of America is very big on recognition for a job well done.
Cons
The pay compared to other banks within the same field are not comparable. Change is constant, as with several other companies. Little notice is given when big changes happen. One day your working in one department and the next it can be another.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior management needs to have more uderstanding that front line managers can manage their own teams.
Pros
It offers opportunity to grow.
Cons
Lack of appropriate leadership in consumer banking.
Pros
Bank of America is all about growth and change.
Cons
Bank of America is not structured in their management's response to change and communcating those changes to employees.
Pros
Great Benefits and career growth
Cons
Sometimes it takes a while to move up. Some of the management think they know it all and they do not.
Pros
Godd benefits. Added financial benefits. Good employees and great people to work with. Senior leadership seems to have determined a good corporate strategy for future growth.
Cons
Given the large size of the company, there are now too many obstacles to effectively manage the amount of change required to complete tasks and improve systems.
Advice to Senior Management
Find a way to stay as large as the company is but become more nimble in our ability to adapt to technological changes.
Pros
Great atmosphere. Benefits were awesome. Plenty of opportunity to make overtime money. Management made it a upbeat place to work.
Cons
Dress code we did not ever see the public so I did not understand the strict dress guidelines. Expected to work holidays it was unspoken but you knew that you had better come in at least half a day on major holiday's.
Advice to Senior Management
Great job supporting the staff and making it a fun and interactive place to work. Be helpful when a difficult client is on the phone and continue to give good feedback as well as the bad.
Pros
Bank of America has been a great place for me to work. As a working mother, Bank of America has afforded me a very flexible schedule, providing great work and life balance. Also, the benefits provided have been essential for my husbands health. Overall, I have enjoyed my career at Bank of America.
Cons
I think that sometimes Bank of America sets unrealistic goals, and the people making these decisions are out of touch with reality.
