    Pros

    If you apply yourself and be open to constructive critism, you can make good money in this position. Be Open to those who mean you well in your success. Be very cautious of those who are selfish and spread gossip.

    Cons

    Management does not support their staff success and family life. In this department, most employees move out of this roll in to a roll in the same building with not much advancement. This office does not promote management for their high achievers. Most companies acknowledge their top salesmen. In this position, it's truly about who you know.

    Commit to going the extra mile for those who keep you employed. Stop clicking up with the craft employees. Management should leave and guide, not tear down and classify.

    A great deal of opportunities to move around within the company.

    It is definitely not what you know, but who you know at this company.Opportunity growth if you're in the right click. Loosing a lot of great talent because of this behavior there. Too many lay offs within the organization.

    Not enough diversity in upper and senior leadership. Needs improvement especially regarding diversity in executive leadership roles for the company.

    Sometimes difficult to identify opportunities. They're always there, just difficult to find the right ones to forge your career path.

    Engage those who report to you. Help push them to never settle for the status quo. My manager is this way with me and we have a fantastic working relationship. Hands down the best manager I've ever had. Let your team know you believe in them and you have a vested interest in their success!

    Pros

    good benefits and flexibility, they helped pay some of tuition

    Cons

    their benefits got a little worst each year, health benefits got a little more expensive and with less, like the tuition reimbursement. It used to be where it didn't matter your degree, than they changed it and had to be job related.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I worked at 3 different locations, in Fort Lauderdale Fl and in Atlanta, Ga. So I did get to see how markets do things differently. Their training is constant, you never stop training and they expect you to do it while helping customers. More support to do things of the floor like we were supposed would have been helpful to retain information.

    This company has amazing benefits!

    Cons

    You must stay in a position for a year before you can advance to another one. And retail banking side seems very female dominated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Coaching is most effective when it comes from a positive stance versus a negative nagging stance of "you didn't do this" and "you better do that". Management should be given incentives for helping tellers attain required metrics. This may improve morale when a poor supervisor is in place.

    all the federal holidays off

    always talking about doing whats right for the customer and then turning around and hounding you about how many Credit Cards did you get.

    Make sure the Middle management understand what the top executive mean when we talk about being for the customer. It seams to get lost in translations

    Great benefits- low cost per pay period and great options, flexibility with schedule, generous attendance policy, fun monthly department meetings, many treats and activities for holidays and special events throughout the year, promotions available, decent cafeteria, free banking

    Cons

    Not much room for growth in call center- team lead, manager, bounce to a different department-that's it, call centers can be "catty", job can be boring

    Remember call center employees may have other goals within the bank- reach out to them for career advancement opportunities
