get off the office and actually work. Grab some transactions answer phone.
Pros
Learning to deal with customers, improving your customer service skills.
Cons
Pay isn't greta, too much micromanaging, unfairness, too many favorites, not enough recognition.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't allow to get carried away by people trying to suck up to management
Pros
Working with people and management is extremely helpful and friendly. The benefit package is very good for the employees that work there
Cons
They don't work well with giving employees their annual review on time or raises on time. As well as work with scheduling
Advice to Senior Management
You employees work very hard. I believe they should get compensated as such. Also sometimes the teller jas more customer service skills then the head teller
Pros
Very great benefits and personnel assistance, large bank
Cons
Their pay is one of the lowest, doesn't communicate very well about changes
Pros
Management is open to innovative ideas to improve day to day operations
Open to change and feedback
Good people to work with for the most part
Cons
Not a great pay
Not a great incentive
At time other employees can get away with slacking while others take the burn
Advice to Senior Management
Dear management,
consider education level a requirement for receiving a position in this company. Particularly in the management and personal banker position. Also consider integrity of tellers when accepting their employment.
Pros
employee support, customer support, company to grow!
Cons
You must move up the hierachy of jobs.
Advice to Senior Management
I love the way Bank of America treats its employess. Everything from employee benefits to banking work support, you guys are the BEST!!!
Pros
Because it is a diversified workplace and offers many opportunities for one to explore and reach out that our relevant to anyone's area of interest.
Cons
There is not a system that includes all the states.
Advice to Senior Management
I advice management to create a positive environment in their workplace and communicate this positive language to their employees, to their co-workers and to their shareholders. If we motivate people with our attitute we are able to instill in those individuals a need to learn and to work hard to reach a common goal.
Pros
I work with great people, learn daily and get great benefits.
Cons
Nothing related to the company, just some rude customers
Advice to Senior Management
nothing as of yet, very happy
Pros
- Between the customers and your fellow employees, you will meet some of the most AMAZing people in the entire world.
- They provide health care to part-time employees.
- They offer a pretty decent 401k.
Cons
- No training. Or if there is, it is very limited. It is basically a hands-on learning environment.
- The management do not feel as though doctors appointments are a necessity, even if someone was to have a bacterial infection. The center I was at also seemed to frown upon the people that were pregnant and/or have other obligations in their lives. Like their children. Work is a lot, but is not everything. If you want to receive, you must give.
- Very pushy with sales. It also seems to be getting worse with time.
- The communication follows a military type of style. From Senior Management down. Although things may be communicated, they should be communicated in an easier tone so that by the time they get to the little people they aren't being stepped on and stabbed five times over.
Advice to Senior Management
People are people. They make mistakes. Forgive them.
Pros
they kind of respect your school schedule depending on the kind of manager you have. you get to learn really good customer service while working at BOA
Cons
The pay isn't that great compared to other banks and also they like to work your sweet off. A very stressful job with too many complicated to reach goals, hard to get the so call bonuses
Advice to Senior Management
have to be more careful when it comes to promoting people for the wrong reasons. THere are a lot of favoritism when it comes to raises and promotions
