Pros
Great Advantages: Markets valued teamwork, cheerful and engaging employees, health benefits, 401k, pensions, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, growth opportunities within the banking center, off and be paid on federal holidays, and volunteering opportunities.
Cons
Growth from banking center to corporate rate is small, currently the job security is poor, demanding job for sales platform positions, constant changes in regulations and policies, too many conference calls, unnecessary paper work overload, constant negativity from the media which reflect on and directly affect front line employees that work in the banking center, and constant bashing from customers because of fees and more fees.
Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to consider customer wants and employees capabilities when making decisions regarding new policies or new fees. Employees do not want to be overworked and feel as though they're not being compensated enough for the amount of work they do. And customers want benefits and advantages not more fees assessed to their accounts.
Pros
Bank of America is a one of the most recognizable brands in the country. The position was a great experience for working in advertising
Cons
Advertising consists of individuals with strong personalities. In traffic you have to monitor the work of people including copywriters, acct execs, art directors, etc.
Advice to Senior Management
The company does a great job in advertising. The state of the economy and Bank of America's role in that makes the creative process somewhat challenging.
Pros
The benefits and vacation time
Cons
It got worse and worse over the years. At one time was a fun and reasonable place to work, but as layoffs continue, the working environment has become toxic, managers' expectations unreasonable with work/life balance non existent. Happy to be done with this bank!
Advice to Senior Management
No advice to give. They are not interested and would not listen.
Pros
The only decent thing was the paycheck.
Cons
The uncertainty of your job, not knowing what was happening, watching friends and work associates get eliminated and wondering when you were next. Working day in and out and wondering is this my last day.
Advice to Senior Management
Put people in place at the top who know what they are doing and eliminate the people who are slackers and poor performers before eliminating the one's who work hard and well.
Pros
Salary is decent, products are actually great!
Cons
Micro management, poor reputation in the market
Advice to Senior Management
Focus more on employee satisfaction and the bottom line will be positively impacted. Provide the media, hence businesses with reasons why they should consider BoA. The organization needs a big change to focus on the customer and promote the changes being made in the market!

Pros
easy to get a job, no accountability, little pressure, great at life balance issues, locations all over the country, great benefits

slow, bureaucratic, senior management in a daze, poor pay, lousy products to sell, no reward to innovate
Advice to Senior Management
close branches, embrace innovation, allow top producers to earn more, create more direct lines of accountability, less matrix management, develop products worth selling
Pros
My direct manager was excellent, providing any type of support I needed. I was able to strike a good balance between life/work with fair compensation. Generally the work was meaningful. Overall my experience with BAC was excellent.
Cons
Due to the size of the company and the amount of projects, it was sometimes difficult to get the necessary people in meetings, which can make it very difficult to meet milestones.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue doing what your doing, it's obviously working.
Pros
Benefits, work ethic, diversity of opportunities
Cons
culture, advancement potential, hierarchical org.
Advice to Senior Management
advancement, culture
