Pros
Benefits are great. They offer paid paternity leave. They offer tuition reimbursement. They offer adoption reimbursement. The work environment is very good.
Cons
Sometimes upper management seems confused or out of touch with the realities of working face-to-face with customers. Alot of managers are not as knowledgeable as their associates and they do not work hard. It seems like there are a lot of poor managers.
Pros
-Very LGBT friendly environment
-Good health benefits
-generous amount of vacation time, with the option of purchasing an extra week
Cons
-too much overtime
-clique-like environment
-have to work most paid holidays
-very little room for growth for advancement
-information is continually held back
Pros
benefits package and stability, clear expectations
Cons
pays seem to have dropped but this has happened economically. Management is a bit robotic in coaching but this seems understandible for the industry.
Pros
Good benefits and general work environment. Good people working under difficult conditions.
Cons
Short staffed. Very strong Mormon influence in promotion decisions. long hours because of staffing. frequent changes in direction of policies and procedures.
Advice to Senior Management
As a publicly held company you should strive to be more secular in your hiring decisions. BOA is not your little private family business.
Pros
They have great benefits and pay.
Cons
No teamwork
Money driven, not customer driven
Advice to Senior Management
Bank needs to focus on how they grew in the first place. Values are compromised towards customers
Pros
Great teams and very good pay. Would recommend friends to join.
Cons
Stock price and always changing.
Pros
Nice Pay
Good Benefits
Opprtunities to grow
Cons
Some leaders do not know what they are doing
Advice to Senior Management
none
Pros
The benefits at Bank of America are outstanding. My immediate supervisor's were supportive, listened to ideas and promoted an inclusive work environment.
Cons
On the job training is the norm in many areas, creates inconsistent processes. Recognition is lacking in some areas. Change to improve workflow is slow to be implemented.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior management doesn't get it! Changes are made without considering how front line associates will be impacted. They need to listen to the people who are doing the work and consider their recommendations.
Pros
Benefits, steady competitive work environment. It gives ou a sense of what you want and can do what you really have to do to get it done. Provides a sense of what abcoeporatikn will do to keep your job rolling
Cons
Empty promises Poor promotion opportunity
Advice to Senior Management
Tell it how it is and font feed us crap about promotions
Pros
They match your 401. Ok time off, although is not PTO. Offer lots of educational classes for free online.
Cons
Too much money is wasted on resources that don't support daily/project needs or needs that could be performed at the local level. They don't give enough "local" authority, consequently it takes longer to get something done and the follow up work in exhausting! Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Pay rate is not always equal to amount of work or experience you bring or create at your job.
Advice to Senior Management
Same as above.
