I got paid well but not close to what the market paid. Very hard to advance unless you want to patronize upper level mgmt.

    Cons

extensive micro manage and regulatory steps to follow. did not matter how well you did your job if you did not follow script you got warned and fired. do not allow you to treat customers well.

    Pros

Good pay solid bonuses there was a lot of help from mentors and other staff on daily operations. Good atmosphere.

    Cons

Long work shifts that were demanding with little breaks. No time off what so ever. Promotions rare and they almost never occurred.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They have great benefits and your fellow employees are easy to get along with.

    Cons

The "flexible" schedule that they require you to have and the lack of support from team leaders when you needed additional assistance (which was lacking) were difficult issues to overcome. It made your job more difficult and caused you to have to give vague answers to your customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The team leaders should be available to the staff for assistance when they have questions which need an answer for the customers. Also, there should be more accommodations for schedule changes when emergencies arise in the employees life situation.

    Pros

Great pay for college student, good benefits and plenty of time off.

    Cons

Same thing every day. I could go into work and know exactly how the day is going to be but that is exactly what it is like working at a call center the same call every day all day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Personal growth seem great to refocus yourself into other areas of the company every year or so.
