    Pros

Paid time off and benefits are outstanding. Allowed to use in advance (PTO). Technology and work tools always with the times.

    Cons

Lack of diversity in higher level management, particularly with african american and latino males. Doesn't seem to be a priority for the bank to improve in.

    Pros

Spent 14 years at this Bank. Great people

    Cons

Very political to try to move within the organization even as big as this. Posted for 10 positions in one year and never got to 2nd based (past HR). No raise in 3 years & bonus dropped. Enough was enough.

    Advice to Management

You never to value your employees not just in lip service and surveys. You don't deliver what your promise.

    Pros

Maternity leave. 401k. Paid time off. Stability of large company.

    Cons

Retail banking is experiencing severe personnel cuts. Associates are feeling the pain of it.

    Advice to Management

BEFORE you cut tellers, move the machines in first so we at least have decent options for the 20 person long teller line with only one teller behind the window.

    Pros

locations everywhere and any kind of position you can imagine. very good benefits although health and dental are expensive and continue to increase for ONLY those associates earning 55-100k--why no increase to those above 100k?? Great question.

    Cons

aggressive sales with no regard for demographics. clearly the shareholders and executives are more important than the associates or customers.

    Pros

All employees are professional and have a positive attitude. Managers are supportive and want you to learn.

    Cons

Pay is not that great. Focus on opening accounts for clients is a lot of pressure.

    Advice to Management

Tellers do best when they don't have to pressure people into new accounts and credit cards, they need less pressure on that and a bit more training in sales.

    Pros

Good job security, simple products and service.

    Cons

A lot of red tape. A lot of micro managing, too many different possible answers to the same questions about policy

    Pros

Good opportunities to move around and gain experience in a large corporation. I've been promoted 3 times in 4 years. My pay has gone up around 25% in that time too. If you get in with a good group your work will be rewarded and respected.

    Cons

Always have your resume' ready to go as you may have to move quickly to avoid a layoff. I've been laid off twice in the last 4 years. Watch out for managers who will cut your throat to save their behinds. Incompetent employees will not only stay on, but will get promoted. Hard to get rid of a bad employee/manager.

    Advice to Management

Don't assume that everyone who is in management got there because they are competent. There needs to be some sort of cross-checking so that incompetent associates/managers don't continue to stay and poison everybody else.
