I have been working at Bank of America full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Chance to move up the ladder. Gain banking experience.

    Cons

Weekly sales quotas, if not met then mandatory training or role-palying is required.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep in mind most customers think of the bank as an errand and generally would like to leave to fulfill other obligations in their day especially on work days. Meet-nows are harder to get simply for that reason. There should be an emphasis on making appointments and following through with them.

I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

Work life balance as a branch manager I work a maximum of 45 hours a week . Earliest arrival time is 8 and generally leave no later than 5pm. Bonus structure is highly achievable

    Cons

staffing is so tight but that is the way banking is going. Making it hard to do all aspects of the postion everyone has to contribute equally

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If there is someone who is bringing your team down it should not be so difficult to cut them loose.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

My Work Program (work at home), compensation, recognition, company becoming more transparent.

    Cons

Mere talk of work-life balance; however, employees are often assigned additional job responsibilities which make it extremely difficult to not work long days unless one is comfortable doing a sub-par job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote reporting, etc. which encourages work-life balance.
