I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

They care about there employees and have flexible schedules if your a single parent it is understandable that there are times you need to be able to take time or need flexible schedules and you can get that a Bank Of America. AS well as there benefits package which is truly awesome It fully covers you and there is even flexibility with that.

    Cons

Long hours But you get paid for every minute. Goals orientated but you she the profits in your paycheck. Parking is a travesty though you have to get there early enough to get a parking spot and not have to walk from the garage as on hot or rainy days it is awefull

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what your doing? Keeping your employees happy keeps the customers happy. Go Management.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Excellent benefits, excellent staff, with a fair pay rate. You get to meet amazing people everyday and are introduced infrequently to upper upper management. There is plenty of room to move up in the company and is all based upon the effort that is put forward on the sales floor.

    Cons

In any career field there will be co-workers and supervisors that you could care less for. There is at times a very "in your face" approach with confronting employees of a branch that are not meeting sales goal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

In any sales orientated career, although focus should be put on pleasing the customers, a businesses front line employees should be treated with respect and dignity as they are the true revenue drivers.

I worked at Bank of America part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    -Good job for students
-no work on sundays, saturdays off by 3-4, off major holidays
-good pay compared to other parttime jobs
    - guaranteed to work how ever many hours you applied for
    - after 1 year , you can get tuition reimbursement for related majors/coursework

    Cons

-dress attire is business casual (not a con for everyone)
-you need to be a VERY GOOD MULTITASKER you will be dealing with peoples money and you need to be accurate when counting their money, putting it away, entering it in the computer all while having a conversation with them and trying to get a referral.
-High pressure to meet your referral goals. Management will really be on you to make your referal goals. Referrals are when a customer comes up to your window and you try to match up their financial situation with a product that may suit them like a credit card or savings account. the referral only counts if they sit down with a personal banker. if they leave before they talk to a banker, it does not count and if you make an appointment for them and they do not keep it then it also does not count.
-If the position says bilingual preferred, I suggest you speak that language because although you will still be able to communicate with customers to process their transactions, the language barrier will make it hard for you to get a referral., and you need all the referrals you can get.

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Bank of America is focus on "Customer Service" and "Doing The Right Thing"
It made me want to do more. My supervisor's (upper & immediate) has a hands on
experience/training ability that help us do better in our job.

    Cons

We always have a Unit meeting once a week and it gives all employees to voice out their opinion.
    Benefits are excellent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Corporate bosses just have to listen more to our Unit/Team Managers to engage an even workflow
No matter how things change each day, to make employees appreciate Bank of America openly
