    Pros

    Flexible
    Can learn a lot
    Great senior staff!

    Cons

Clerks aren't treated well. Benefits are low for them. Strikes didn't work out. Reimbursements are too low.
They aren't left on time by upper staff. Made to work too much.
    Clerical salary is very less.

P.s. advice to youngsters. Opt for officer posts over clerical.
Those with double degree don't go for clerical if you want some value for what you have studied.
    Source-self experience.

    Advice to Management

Please have concern for the staff that go through difficulties.

    Pros

If you are unemployed and have no better options join this organization. It is just another public sector undertaking which is going on a down slide mainly because of its Corporate Policies and functioning being outdated and not adjusted to up-market conditions. If you want safety and security of your job, BOI is best !!

    Cons

Highly Subjective and caste/linguistic based HR policies.Management show their face as target(hypothetical !!!) oriented , association/union protect dumb employees which don't work , they have promoted such incapable staff members to higher post (upto chief managers) .If you want preferred posting and you are female just sleep with top management .For any other category of human just be a brahmin you will get what you want .Rest of human are useless as considered by HR. "Subjectivity" / influence in the decision making process is the root cause of the rot that has set in.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and value your Human Resources and judge them by their efficiency, honesty and potential rather than the "Relationship" they have/they are successfully maintaining. It's certainly relationship beyond banking .The Top management follows that and everybody needs to follow to flourish too.Value your employees , see from where they are qualified from .
