Good Experience to be part of a leading Public Sector Bank.

Finance Executive (Current Employee) Bangalore (India)

ProsBeing a Public Sector bank, the Job is secured. Also, banking sector being the backbone of any country's economy, you will be able to meet and interact with people from different domains and industries. You will learn a lot about such industries and will be able to take decisions based on macro and micro economic factors. Wonderful work culture and strong established set of processes for working. Personal and Professional life can be managed as it has fixed timings.

ConsSix days a week job leave little time (only Sunday) for you to spend for yourself or your family. CTC is the least among all the public sector undertakings of the government. Salaries are better compared to other public sector banks but lesser compared to private sector banks or IT companies.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe bank's image need to be changed. Bank should portray itself more as a youth's bank offering them various IT / Technologies based services and faster (much faster) services and decisions.
