Decent to good pay, decent benefits, some great people and flexible working hours.

Poor communication and integration with Australia, poor management policies and unnecessary restructures, and inadequate long term planning regarding IT infrastructure.

Silo model of department independence does not work well with IT infrastructure spending, and internal departmental restructures do not necessarily fix the problems.
