    Pros

Great culture! On boarding and training are very thorough. Leadership really cares about all job families, very engaged without the feeling of micro management.

    Cons

The systems are a bit outdated which at times makes day to day activities a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up! Great bank, good size, loyal associates and loyal customers.

    Pros

average benefits for a bank. Small size

    Cons

Pressure because of little staffing. There seems to always be a calamity in the Houston consumer bank. Pressure to hit goals when there is no advertising or visibility in the market.

    Advice to Management

Stop acting like WF or BOA - Bank of Texas is not that big.

    Pros

There are none, I wish I could give some positive feed back. I would be lying if I did.

    Cons

The Plano office is the worst, most hostile enviorment I've ever had at any company I have worked for. There is zero training, then if you seek out training, assistance, guidance, forget it! The professionalism is non-exsistant. Upper Management, does have any idea what direction to go in. Everyone gossips, and have witnessed a few questionable incidents. This place is an HR hazard. Beware, do not think for one minute you will be a part of any sort of team atmosphere.

    Advice to Management

Get it together, do not belittle, berate, or behave like little tyrants. Quit sweeping the problems under the rug. You all should be ashamed. Not to mention, Ethics! Get some, or you will have the FEDS investigating.

    Pros

Good Co-workers and benefits are ok

    Cons

The branches are not staffed correctly - the Assistant Branch Managers needed help. The Branch Mgrs. were overworked also. Everybody is overworked because there is not enough staff.

    Advice to Management

Don't expect your employees to do what you can't even think about doing! Staff your branches appropriately!

    Pros

One of the founders in Dallas is the greatest person you could ever work with. Just a true gentleman, old school and respects everyone.

    Cons

the departments are very detached and Private Bank acts as if they are to good to help anyone the new upper mgmt ruined everything.

    Advice to Management

listen to everyone you do not know where the next good ideal will come from And give credit were credit is do!

    Pros

The people are amazing. They have created a culture there that is far and away the best that I have ever worked at. Everyone is so super friendly and treats everyone like they are family. Truly amazing office culture.

    Cons

If you are not in Oklahoma, where HQ is located, then your ideas or voice will not be heard. All other areas of the bank are treated like red-headed step-children. Also, consumer division is a dying breed and not treated like other areas of the bank.

    Advice to Management

Need to be more competitive with salary and technology.

    Pros

The best reasons to work here are the location.

    Cons

Lots of changes in management, changes in compensation-instability. Not a place I'd recommend anyone else to work for.
