I worked at Baptist Health Care full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great culture and leadership. There are very kind and knowledgeable people that take great care of patients. Very caring workplace.

    Cons

Job descriptions are sometimes inaccurate because there is a need and salaries are low. So, administration is doing more with less. A great plan but causes burn out early.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen more.

I worked at Baptist Health Care

    Pros

Atmosphere is pleasant with a prevalent attitude emphasizing the importance of team work and family. Fulfillment each and every time you make a patient laugh or feel more comfortable.

    Cons

    Salary is not very competitive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Always be open and honest with employees about salary possibilities. If you offer any sort of raise in compensation, then work hard to make sure it comes to fruition.

Treats employees poorly, and admin does not care about the patients. Doctors are leaving in droves!

I have been working at Baptist Health Care full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Specialize in new docs coming out of training that need minimal staff and don't know the ropes yet.

    Cons

Administration does not applaud office growth and productivity with providing the appropriate staff to handle higher volumes. The outpatient clinics remain understaffed and underpaid. Hard work is not rewarded. Turnover is extremely high. Morale is low. They preach a culture that they do not practice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to the needs of the clinical staff...without them you can't treat patients, and they only want what is good and right for the patient. Learn how to not only recruit, but KEEP your quality staff.

I have been working at Baptist Health Care full-time

    Pros

    Great benefits-, some nice people.

    Cons

Backstabbing, people always afraid of losing jobs. Very poor staffing on some floors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees better and maybe your turnover will not be so high. Orientation is long and must cost a fortune. Then employees are not treated well and leave.
