Cons – No support system from management in regards to patient care
Management has little regard for an employees personal off time.

Pros – They work with your schedule and try to accomodate your needs.
Their Patient Satisfaction scores are close to the best in the nation.

Cons – Horrible Benefits when compared to other local hospitals
Below average pay for the amount of work that you do.
Location is downtown in a bad neighborhood.

Advice to Senior Management – Please try to communicate better with the staff. Offer us a FAR better benefits package than what we have now. Compare our plans to the other local hospitals, one of which pays NO copays to see doctors, while we pay $50 almost to see a specialist.

Pros – This health care system actually cares about not only it's empoyees but it's patients too. One of the better places to work in this area.

Cons – Accrual of PDOs could be better and the fact that we don't get compensated to work holidays is definitely a con.

Advice to Senior Management – Most other hospitals in the Panhandle pay at least time and a half to work holidays. People would volunteer if we were compensated.
