Barclays Capital Reviews
-
Pros
Prime location in NYC
People are less cut-throat than other top firms
Up-and-coming firm
Relative ease with switching from one desk to anotherCons
Long hours were very difficult
Importance of living right near work in order to get sleep
Lifestyle is draining and many people are cut-throatAdvice to Senior Management
I understand investment banks require long hours, but it seems counterproductive. If a CEO of a firm were to totally change the way investment bankers work, I think they would make more money.
