I worked at Barefoot Books as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I interned at Barefoot Books and learned a lot about children's book publishing and book publicity. I worked in a small department and my supervisor, the Communications Director, was so supportive and helpful at all times. Overall, it was a great internship experience.

    Cons

The company is very small so it doesn't seem like there is much room for advancement and they seemed to be shifting their focus away from books for the time being so it's unclear what the future of the company holds.
