Pros

Good glove brands. Good work life balance. Generally mellow workplace demeanor. Generally decent people to work with. Small office bordering on family culture.

Cons

Private equity. Extreme vacation day package after 1 yr. (some are rarely ever in office!). Unpredictable -- Though the vacation pool is nice, the lack of employment predictability is highly stressful. High level of acquisition activity - Bought once, sold once, spun a division, acquired a division --- all within four years. Operations controlled. Systems decentralization. Small. NIL ability to move up or even lateral.

They have a good benefit package.

Cons

The company is very dysfunctional between sales and operations. There is not one true leader for the organization, so who is in charge making the decisions?

Advice to Senior Management

Put more faith and trust in your middle management. Stop having so many meetings to cover every last detail. There are smart people there let them make decisions and get the work done. They wil make some mistakes but that's is the only way the company can scale.
