I worked at Baskin Robbins part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I had an amazing manager who really showed she appreciated the hard work that I put into the store. Usually, the co-workers were fun to be around, even if you had to be on them to clean or restock, but most people were great. Customers are generally nice and even the rude ones aren't that bad.

    Cons

Only so many hours that you can be scheduled for, don't count on getting full time hours. Pay doesn't usually get much higher than minimum wage. Hours usually cut even more during the winter. Tend to get frequent people trying to scam you out of money or product including fake bills. Lots of doing the same kinds of tasks each shift.

I have been working at Baskin Robbins part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

There's a great variety of things to do at the store, so there's rarely a chance for boredom, especially when you consider the more creative aspects of the store like cake decorating. I was really lucky and had a great manager, and I'm thankful for everything she taught me about customer service.

    Cons

It seems like franchise stores don't get a lot of support from corporate. Most of our dealings with corporate involved anxiety, when ideally there should be a more collaborative atmosphere between ground-level workers and higher-ups.

I worked at Baskin Robbins part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Lots of downtime, easy to learn, and not too busy. Manager is very nice and the scheduling is very flexible. Customers are very nice and understanding for the most part.

    Cons

Very repetitive. You will be doing the same thing on a daily basis. Usually work with one other co-worker so not much interaction with people outside of customers.

    Pros

I was able to work around my school schedule and my coworkers were pretty cool.

Working alone in the middle of the night in Seattle was not the safest thing to do, but there were not enough people available. But on the other hand, I got all the tips.
