    Pros

Employee discounts, employees are great, cool place to work

    Cons

no room for advancement even though they say there is. Hours are always getting cut. They work you like a dog but give nothing in return

    Advice to Management

Dont promise your team promotions from within and then go hire someone new and cut everyone else's hours. Also, try to help out more when its busy instead of hiding in your office/

    Pros

Employee discount - 40% on Bass Pro brands & 10% off everything else

    Cons

The management doesn't care about anyone but themselves, the store is constantly a wreck, there are mice in the taxidermy animals (the mice also go into the restaurant area!), no one cares about anything except their paycheck (although you'll occasionally meet some lifelong friends), it is the worst example of a "team environment" I've ever seen, you're treated by your role within the store - it's a hierarchy, with cashiers being the lowest and management being at the top, they will not allow you to have opportunities to move up within the company, the management does not stick up for their employees - I have been cussed out repeatedly and while I understand the customer is always right - management needs to step in and stop letting their employees be harassed. As large as a company that Bass Pro is you'd think they'd at least be able to afford pest control so their guests aren't eating rat feces.

    Advice to Management

You all need to get off your high horses, stop acting like trust fund kids, learn the meaning of hard work & working for what you have, learn common courtesy and respect towards others, learn to be appreciative to your employees, be considerate to them and their feelings, & get rid of the rats!!

    Pros

Great discount. Great experience with a wide variety of customers from all over the world.

    Cons

    Lots of part time employees.
    No insurance for this reason.
Coworkers could be of better quality if they would hire full time employees.
