    Pros

If they follow their own training you will learn some very effective sales techniques you can use anywhere.
    Good first job.
Lots of locations if you need a job in a new area.
Sometimes you get free things, but you always get to play with the lotions.

    Cons

It varies with management how good the training or stress will be.
Hours can be scarce, as an associate it is nearly impossible to make a living on your own.
    Malls.
    People.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have great training material. Use it! When corporate makes us play a fun game let us actually do it, some people will be downers but some people crave those fun days!

I have been working at Bath & Body Works

    Pros

The atmosphere is always happy. I love everyone I work with, all of us managers get along and our district manager was and is always helpful. They strive to make everyone be a little bit better without feeling down.

    Cons

During the holidays it gets really tough especially if you're in school. I was working close to 55 hours a week and I was only supposed to be a part time manager, but in the long run it really does pay off. I got paid at 10.50 an hour which isn't bad for a college student, but stinks knowing that someone who has the same position as me gets paid 3 dollars more than me even though I have more responsibilities.

I worked at Bath & Body Works

    Pros

The management team was very helpful and friendly. The District Manager would visit and help employees with anything and it was almost always busy so there was always something to do.

    Cons

I unfortunately took a pay decrease to work here but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the manager so it wasn't all that bad. During the holiday season, I did not care for some of the people that they would hire.
