    Pros

A great place to get diverse hands on experience. There are a lot of intelligent and hard working people who work there.

    Cons

Although not applicable to me, there is not a good work/life balance culture.

    Pros

Good worker bees...hard working people who catch all the crap coming down from Management

    Cons

Clueless queen bee...she (or he in this instance) is killing the colony...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Board and CEO needs to be replaced. Both are responsible for poor direction, no accountability, wasteful financial decision making. A complete mess. Nothing but excuses for poor performance. CEO will hire another VP of Sales to blame for the poor results.
CEO must be a vampire because he continues to evade the axe...smh

    Pros

Everyone is very friendly and wiling to help out. Environment is good, other employees are nice, they all know each other well and has a close relationship.

    Cons

There is no con to this business, just that it is small but it is a great place to learn for interns, not much room for growth once you have a title/job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow more insight and learning experience for interns to take a part of.

    Pros

    Good Training.
Non-management and sales support staff are very friendly, genuine and exceptional people.

    Cons

    Frequently sexually harassed.
Told what to do without any opportunity for input.
Managerial and higher roles are all filled by friends of upper management who are under qualified and seriously lack professionalism and ethics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value diversity in the workplace and look outside your prior relationships for talent.

    Pros

It was a paycheck every 2 weeks.

    Cons

The process to get hired took what seemed like forever-
it was as if they were dragging their feet wanting me to beg for the job.
This process was rude and unprofessional, I had other interviews and offers going on and they kept stringing me along for months.

The job I responded to and interviewed for in no way reflected the tasks assigned me. Had I known what they really wanted me to do I would of taken another job. Once you start they pigeon hole you for tasks with no chance for proving yourself, there is no opportunity to grow within the company.

Compensation was advertised as much higher than they were willing to pay as a means of attracting more resumes. However they weren't willing to talk salary till they offered the job.
Had I know it was so low, once again I would of taken another job.

No bonus to the non manager personal, unless you call their "lottery" system
of 1 per department a bonus system (made for a lot of hard feelings in the departments).
Not sure what other benefits they offered since HR never meet with me.

Supervisor did not offer assistance or guidance.
No communication with my manager or others in the department - the guys were cold and unfriendly. They were dudes right out of college with no work experience or knowledge, and it really showed. The department seemed more like a fraternity than a department, with office hierarchy that was archaic. Everyone was either on the "team" or just labeled a team member and treated like the copy machine. I was assigned a station - no cubes or walls to buffer noise or department activity just a long table.

The computer I was given had been someone else's that they had gotten rid of because it didn't work for them,it didn't work for me either.

Got out of there as soon as I could.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees as you wish to be treated yourself. During the interview, I asked about turnover and was told it was very low,
reality is that they should put in a revolving door for the people leaving.
Company is being manned by temps and contractors in the prep for moving.

    Pros

Many highly educated amazing people. Meaningful work.

    Cons

Executive leadership out of touch with reality. Too far removed to fully understand the ramifications of their decisions. Convinced that increasing sales will solve all problems but it will really only magnify underlying issues, and there are many. One reviewer stated that employees are just a number and that is exactly how it is.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employee turnover will continue until you earn employee's trust. Take care of your people and they will take care of you.

    Pros

Great portfolio of products, nice people, decent benefits

    Cons

Few opportunities for growth, senior management lives in its own bubble that's out of touch with the rest of the company, presentations are frequently filled with meaningless buzzwords and misleading information, company values shifted entirely to the bottom line and maximizing profitability

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't engage employees by simply telling them that "we all need to be engaged." You also can't earn their trust by simply saying "trust me" and then proceeding with sharing what's convenient instead of what's true. You should focus a bit more on employee satisfaction and retention and a bit less on creating your own golden parachutes. A good first step would be to start talking to employees and listening instead of talking at them.
