I have been working at Bay Area Techworkers full-time for less than a year
Pros – They pay on time and get things right. The Humana vision and dental insurance they provide is good.
Cons – There is no guarantee that the client they find for you is in the same ballpark. Contracts can be very open-ended and unspecific - although this is likely driven by their clients. It pays to push for specificity in the contract and make sure that you are introduced to not just the hiring manager, but colleagues and higher level managers before taking a position. This is particularly true for Txxxx; which has apparently gained a certain notoriety among contractors for having less-than perfect IT managers. TW appears to do their best to intercede between difficult clients and contractors when necessary.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep up the good work.

I worked at Bay Area Techworkers full-time for less than a year
Pros – The idea of being back out on Cisco campus and being able to work from home. The pay grade and the job advancement was all added bonuses
Cons – The abuse from the manager and supervisor
Not having the support of HR or the company itself
No real training set up for the position we were covering
The actual flexibility of working from home was not kept
Corporate office does not return your calls
They will not even help you locate a job
The staffing company for Bay Area Techworkers will even return your call when hunting for new jobs
When they claim to work and help you; IT's A Lie
Advice to Senior Management – Look for abuse in your from your managers and supervisors. Don't put a green stamp in the mail, letting them know it's okay to treat people that way. Investigate when problems arise, and never blame the person that have been abusive. Finally, never ever fire the person who has been wrongly and blacklist them.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
