Pros
There is a variety of types of jobs. The jobs are generally very interesting. Results are immediate (i.e. not a lot of bureaucracy - your work is put into production immediately) Work on boats/ships.
Cons
Small business - business has ups and downs. Salary and benefits are competitive in this small niche business but not compared to industries in general
Advice to Senior Management
Take some time off. Hire some more help. Get to learn some new software. Reorganize the office space for efficiency.
