Decisions made in Germany which demonstrate lack of understanding of the US market place and lack of faith in US management. Senior managers very controlling, they make bad decisions to save a few dollars and are not forward looking. Weak pipeline in most therapeutrc areas.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to your employees and accept constructive criticism and problem solving suggestions. Bring your pay up to industry standard and stop looking for yes men.

Great salesforce. Educated, motivated people who want to work with passion.

Senior management consists of idiots who don't know how to run a business. They took over Berlex Laboratories and drove it into the ground.
A lot of nimrod managers, especially in NY!
Product pipeline is a bust.
Current products are going downhill.
Company just underwent a huge down-sizing, and is considering another one soon!
Advice to Senior Management
Go back to Germany and bring back the Berlex senior management! At least they knew what the hell they were doing!

Communication between departments is sub-par
No consistency within and between departments
Personnel do their jobs but often do not have a solid understanding of the process and importance of each task
Advice to Senior Management
Please re-evaluate the competencies of people in management positions. People should be promoted based on demonstrated skills and accomplishments and not just length of service.

It is a large company - very diversified. the mission of the company is to improve people's health which is very gratifying.

Very process oriented, bureaucratic, a lot of red tape, and very heavy at the top. There are procedures for everything
Advice to Senior Management
Need to listen to the middle managers - they know what they are doing. Need to have more face to face meetings across locations.
