    Pros

    Opportunities to advance, good place to learn and gain experience, variety of cases to be involved with, friendly atmosphere and people to work with

    Cons

    Low starting pay, older equipment on units, overcrowded/overload of patients, high ratio of patients to staff, staff lounges small and outdated

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Increase pay for staff, provide more educational opportunities in house for all levels of staff

    This is not a good company to work for. Lots of goship on fellow employees.

    Not enough pay for the work done; ratio of clients to nurse is too large; understaffed most of the time; too far away; favoritism; horrible benefits; good job done not usually recognized.

    Less department drama; able to spend those extra few minutes with the patients, helping their experience to be a positive one.

    Cons

    I had a particularly long commute to Pasadena; I don't recommend that.
