    Positive Outlook

I worked at Bayshore Medical Center (More than a year)

    Pros

I personally just enjoyed my job. Helping others and being a team player

    Cons

Down side to Bayshore is. In my case as an employee I felt like because I wasn't a nurse my opinion wasn't valid, and major lack of communication and some prejudices within the unit.

    Advice to Management

Before it is the last say allow yourselves to empathize with both sides. Now that I am no longer employed there. The department manager that was hire to take over the former department was able to drag my name through the'll mud. She was fired about two months later. Most likely, I wasn't in the wrong completely if I was wrong at all and I dont feel that I was. Dont alienate your employees all are of value to the organization regardless of what level of education.

    Pros

generous vacation 8 hours every pay period

    Cons

ALWAYS short staffed and horrible management. Will over work employees and pay is extremely low.

    Advice to Management

Do something besides sit in your office all day and give pep talks. On days when techs are short on the floor don't pull another tech off the floor and keep them in your office for 1 hour. We are already short.
