    Pros

Awesome technology that is quickly lagging behind.

    Cons

Since the Danaher take over the emphasis is 100% on profits. It's a business, so why shouldn't it be? Ask yourself that same question when half your friends get fired, and the knowledge of decades of experience is lost.

    Advice to Management

Dare to be honest or "say something not in line with the company's strategic vision" for once.

    Pros

This company has been strengthened by the Danaher acquisition and it has a strong outlook. They are more structured and have a better business model than before the acquisition.

    Cons

There aren't many opportunities to advance once your in a position. Some of the management do not value personal improvement but instead focus on project tasks as the only objective.

    Advice to Management

Understand that if you invest in your people, provide opportunities and career paths available, your retention rate will get better. It might be at the cost of some project work not getting done, but this is better than starting over with a new employee.

    Pros

Engineer's playground. Many great technologies and opportunities to build complex and pretty cool stuff.

    Cons

Career growth is not fast paced, spend lot of time looking all around for information as systems are not well integrated

    Advice to Management

    1) Create structure to make employee feel like they are growing as current employee's feel that moving to the next level is not as well defined as other companies
    2) Increase bonus payout

    Pros

As a sales rep I got a company car
    home office
    good pay
opportunity to earn a solid commission check though very few meet quota by design of plan

    Cons

    constant change in process
    high turnover
micromanaging with salesforce.com tool, tracking calls and constant updates required leave no time for real work to be done.

    Advice to Management

Focus on retaining your employees, we had 20%+ turnover last year. We are selling complex solutions not cheeseburgers and this is unacceptable.
