    Pros

Great pay, good benefits, lots to learn making the job not stagnant.

    Cons

Training is more like an intensive course in college, geared toward former lab workers. Not really suited for individuals outside of this environment. Stress of FDA regulations prevent serious answers to the customers as well.

    Advice to Management

More hands on experience using the devices and less on theory would be best to address this situation.

    Pros

Lots of opportunity for aggressive high energy individuals. The company provides very clear direction and specifically defines expectations. Uses proven strategies and communicates techniques clearly to associates.

    Cons

Very poor work/life balance, your job must come before anything in your life. If you are able to make the company your only priority you can be very successful. The company is highly profit driven and does not respect human assets. The overall company moral is poor, you always feel like you could be let go at any time.

    Pros

Well managed company. Cultural language is Danaher Business System (DBS). Expectation is high and company is driven by continuous process improvement.

    Cons

No end to its continuous improvement culture. If you don't want to be better in what you do, it's not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Danaher's influence on Beckman has been a good one with recent growth within the company.

    Pros

Knowledgeable employees and a friendly environment to work in. Everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

    Cons

Help desk/tech support can be slow at times in resolving issues with your computer. However, they are always friendly and willing to help.

    Advice to Management

I don't have any advice to Management. I never had any problems and cannot think of any critiques.

    Pros

Awesome technology that is quickly lagging behind.

    Cons

Since the Danaher take over the emphasis is 100% on profits. It's a business, so why shouldn't it be? Ask yourself that same question when half your friends get fired, and the knowledge of decades of experience is lost.

    Advice to Management

Dare to be honest or "say something not in line with the company's strategic vision" for once.
