I have been working at Bedrosians full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The company is growing and the products are cutting edge! The company is family owned and operated and is thriving. I really love working for a company that cares about their employees. I have never felt micro-managed.

There is definitely a ton of growth opportunity in sales as the sky is the limit!

    Cons

    Pros

    No pros come to mind.

    Cons

power tripping bosses all around, micromanaged employees who huddle around like drones just waiting for the next time they'll have to beg to keep their job.

  5. Ehhh, if you want to be complacent and not grow (but get a fairly ok wage), go here...

    I worked at Bedrosians

    Pros

    - fairly established company, so expect a fairly stable environment

    Cons

    - very very little growth in personal and in career
    - it's a dull environment and only family members are given career growth (yes, it is a family-owned company)
    - if you don't have bedrosians in your last name, expect to stay in your title and salary for 10 years
    - high turnover rate

    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Bedrosians full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

We are constantly working on really fun and collaborative projects. It feels like a family with a really good work life balance. Very few companies actually care about you as a human. Its a family owned business with great people behind it.

    Cons

Nothing negative I can think of.

I worked at Bedrosians full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

It was good to learn about tile even though most of it was self taught there.

    Cons

Manager played favorites. So if she liked you she would let you go home early or let you sit in her office on her computer or you can sit around chatting with her. The owners could careless who you were even though you make money for them. On holidays they take the days off but expect you to sell tile on Christmas eve, new years eve etc while they sit home and enjoy their families. You are just a number to them and when you are exhausted they'll go hire someone else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire the manager and value your employees.

  8. Company has no structure and the turnover rate is high. Inside staff are unhappy and on edge.

    I worked at Bedrosians

    Pros

Other sales reps are great to work with. Some branches will help out tremendously.

    Cons

Hours are tough as they expect 10 plus hours a day from you. Very hard to move up and they expect sales right away even though you are new. Family run the company and any outside opinion is shot down. Pay doesn't reflect cost of living in areas of the country, and they tend to mess up a lot HR paper work. Everyday is a grind.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a outside consulting team come in and restructure the company. To many problems and family members should be objective to outside opinions in the company.

  9. Bad management, low pay and no future!

    I worked at Bedrosians

    Pros

Great place to meet a vast array of people in the industry.

    Cons

Very clique orientated, if you aren't part of higher management don't hope for a future or deserved wage. High stress and high demands without the proper pay. Unfair treatment in the workplace among coworkers due to managements "favorites". If you want a company that cares about you and wants to grow you as an individual this isn't the company for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better training and monitoring for branch managers so they can better educate hopeful employees in a professional and mature manner. So employees can grow and love the company versus feeling disposable and used.

  10. High stress, low pay...

    I worked at Bedrosians

    Pros

Good place to learn more about tile and build connections. Great place if you like a fast paced environment because you're always kept busy.

    Cons

High stress with low pay and no positive reinforcement. Management only calls you out on mistakes, no matter how small. Lunch breaks are basically non existent and management does not reinforce them on a regular basis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give your employees proper training from the beginning by having someone shadow for at least a week or two. More positive reinforcement would help, as pointing out the bad things creates negative feelings of self doubt. Also, reinforcing breaks, especially lunch breaks, would make for a more positive work environment.

I have been working at Bedrosians

    Pros

Great place to get your foot in the door. Good place for people new to the job market or industry

    Cons

Not much recognition from management, unless you do something wrong. Then plenty of people on your case. Difficult to stay motivated when no one is providing training or encouragement. Raises are basically non existent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There needs to be a structured system for training, raises, and performance based praise. It is very difficult to stay motivated, productive, beneficial to the company when you are not being taken care of financially or mentally.
