    Positive Outlook

I worked at Behavioral Science Technology full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a strong group of people working at BST. They are passionate about the work they do and care about each other. The management is generally responsive and have an "open door" culture. The health and life benefits are fantastic for office staff.

    Cons

BST and their parent company DEKRA are in the process of integrating new business acquisitions, this has caused a significant shakeup in the family-like small business culture and there is much uncertainty among the long time staff. There is not much opportunity for promotion outside of sales. There are many opportunities to cross-train with different teams, but no real opportunity to improve salary.

    Advice to Management

It feels like the current business efforts are out of sync with the Mission and Vision of the company, and many of the office staff feel disconnected from the plan moving forward.
