    Pros

You get an opportunity to basically build and test various ways of operating your own business with what is essentially a loan with no interest. There are incentives for outstanding performance and what you put in is what you get.

    Cons

None, if you are one to complain about work load and compensation this is not for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep it up.

    Pros

The training and communication you have with the boss is amazing. Through your advertising you personally meet with sellers and learn a lot about promoting your service.

    Cons

Can get stressful during finals but you know this going into the job. It is sometimes difficult to convince sellers that they are getting a better price from you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Work on your own schedule, work alone or with a team

    Cons

You go around holding alot of money on you buying students books. If you get robbed or lose the money yo are still responsible for replacing it and you get back a small percentage in a check months afterwards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give students more money

  8.

It was an experience I recommend students to involve themselves with.

I have been working at Belltower Books full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

At Belltower Books you get to make your own schedule and you get an exceptional amount of control over a business right out of college. In addition, you get quite a lot of time off which allows you to do other things.

    Cons

Belltower can be difficult due to the amount of travel. If you are hoping for stability, this is not the job for you. Belltower has a great business model, but it's difficult to know if it will adapt to the changing textbook market.

I have been working at Belltower Books as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

None. This company takes advantage of college students with promises of real money. Unless you want to sweat and break your back dragging books around campus for pennies, this job is a huge scam.

    Cons

What a scam. I worked a whole week - and I worked HARD, all day. I made less that $100 total. Not worth your time.

Also, what they pay for books is significantly less than other companies, so you'll go to an appointment and get turned down by the customer because they can get more money elsewhere, so your time and energy is wasted.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't lie on your ads.
