    Pros

    1. Work - life balance 2. Location

    Cons

You are constantly under the radar. Constant fear that you'll get fired the next day. The company/management is spending way too much money than they are actually making. All the work is done by hourly employed people. So called Managers and VP's are there to travel and play games on their phone and computer. When you go ask some questions they will give a definite solution but be prepared to be thrown under the bus if that solution doesn't work. Its always, I mean always going to be your fault. You'll see people starting as Chemists and Designers and in Marketing, and in one year they will be Vise President of the associated departments. They have less than 100 people working there but they all themselves a Global company. A company that is managed and owned by people who's got no idea of what and where they want to go. Its a shame because the products that were developed 100 years back still hold a good and respectable market.

    Advice to Management

    - Make some definite plans of where you wanna see yourself in next 5 years. - Don't hire people who are just out of school and have absolutely no work experience and give them job duties of some one with 5 years experience. (they do that so that they don't have to pay them as someone with 5 years exp) - Before you hire or fire someone, please think about the after effects of that decision. Its a big step back if you get rid of someone because that someone is just trying to do their job which they are not trained to do. - don't just think about how to save money. Invest intelligently on people, equipments, and ideas.

    Pros

The best place if you like to just seat at your desk and do the bear minimum. Good place to earn experience on what not to do on a professional environment.

    Cons

No advancement. Non-sense and unnecessary day to day work without concept, art direction or creativity.

    Pros

You can make one or two good friends.

    Cons

No professional growth. Titles are given away like candy to unexperienced people, which is a disrespect for people that actually have the experience to do the job AND went to college for it. Constant intimidation. The actual owner of the business hates it, and it shows and well known among employes, so the wife has to take over. Unfortunately the wife has no people or management skills. Good, talented people leave the company.

    Advice to Management

Bring in a real management team. and owners, stay home.

    Pros

Just a very few good professionals with whom you can actually communicate in a rational and at an intelligent level. They usually don't last in the company, neither will I.

    Cons

Everything that could be wrong about a company can be found here. The un-prepared and inexperienced people are given key positions, making everything worse. I have discrimination, harassment, bulling, improper language, constant metal torture by bringing down and embarrassing employees publicly. No way to progress. Constant crisis. Unfortunately, this review is as true as the other reviews, about this company. Good people need to work too so they subject themselves to this type of environment. Very sad!

    Advice to Management

Get professional couching on how to manage people, learn how to create a positive working enviroment. Learn motivational skills and how to respect others.

    Pros

    Manufactures a good end product.

    Cons

Within a 6 month period, Belzona's owners have eliminated all senior management/employees who positively influenced the company, and replaced them with individuals who are desperate enough to deal with all the lunacy that takes place on a day-to-day basis. Management is aware of the economic situation affecting our country, and they use this to their advantage by intimidating and exploiting its employees/distributors. Do not be fooled by appearances, Belzona has the worst culture of any company I have ever been employed in.

    Pros

Good sales training, very good products (but not as fantastic as they believe), great product application knowledge, some nice people.

    Cons

Below market pay, bonuses quite tough to achieve, big accounts on territory are not available (given to KAMs), very target driven (number of appointments, quotes, sales). Result is a high turnover. People generally leave for higher pay elsewhere. Lots of cold calling. It certainly sharpens up your selling skills.

    Advice to Management

Think about transitioning to a more contemporary sales organisation. As others said, owners should butt out and let professional managers manage.

    Pros

Some! good people there. Some! good products. Nice variety of distributors from different cultures. Lots of potential for developing sales if it weren't so hard to get the message across.

    Cons

Most distributors won't attend events if the presidents partner is there. All you read elsewhere is actually true. the harassment, discrimination etc. Dishonest managers... Staff surveys get faked. A lot of talk and no action. Fat cats sitting on paycheck unwiling to optimise. over 100 employees left in the space of 3 years from only 2 out of 4 sites. Also, an employee with a case of cancer in his family wasn't given time off to check for bone marrow treatment - had to take it as a holiday and this guy was THE most loyal, overtimer, training nucleus and kindest person that they had. He is also gone.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Don't dismiss everything you hear. Keep true to your word.
