Pros
The company was having great discounts in clothing for the employees.
Cons
Zero communication between the Senior Management and the employees. It is impossible to obtain a feedback
Advice to Senior Management
They need to work in communication skills and training better how to work with a professional Finance staff. Some people that hold a very high position don’t know how to work with a professional group.
Pros
great training and family like management
Cons
if you don't try then you will not keep the job for a while
Advice to Senior Management
need to work hard
Pros
The product line is high quality and very diverse makes it fun to sell it.
Cons
I was working in a small franchise that was poorly managed. Corporate stores are better choice.
Pros
The store discount is the best perk of this job.
Cons
There is absolutely no room for growth whatsoever in this company. Chaos and disorganization run rampant in this company.
Pros
Discount at the retail stores
Cons
Lack of direction, reactive rather than proactive, hostile work environment.
Pros
- Close contact with clients
- Significant advantages in working in the fashion world
Cons
- Italy-centred company
- Limited relocation opportunity
Advice to Senior Management
- Expand globally, especially in growing markets, Far East, Middle East
Pros
- Good discount on clothes
- Great team to work with
- Relaxed atmosphere
- Classy environment
Cons
- The pay is not good enough compared to other retail jobs
- You have to suck up in order to get a promotion, it's basically based on your friendships with the management team
- High turn over rate
Advice to Senior Management
- Listen more to what the employees have to say in order to make changes
- There should be more constructive criticism
- A more competitive salary
Pros
Exposure to fashion industry, international, ability to purchase fashion at a discount
Cons
HQ in Europe didn't know how to run retail in US. Changing priorities, changing attitudes and direction made it hard to know what to do.
Advice to Senior Management
Not much, it's not a good time with the economy being poor.
Pros
image of company is good.
Cons
no one can really make commission because it's not easy to get a 125 hpr.
Advice to Senior Management
they should run it like a corporation instead of a small business
Pros
-thickens your skin
-teaches you how to tolerate rudeness
-lightens your existential load by removing your soul
Cons
Everything is a con. The management is rude and disconnected, the associates are snitches and hateful, no one has personality, they are retail zombies.
Advice to Senior Management
Management could look into maybe caring about their employees, just a little. A little communication and praise goes a long way. Simply telling your employees how it is, being unapologetic about their own mistakes, after expecting you to be perfect.
