I have been working at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology

    Pros

Used to be a great place to work. Serves a population that really needs Education to advance. Wonderful Students. Caring staff. Students who graduate really are qualified to get better jobs than they were when they started.

    Cons

Undergoing a lot of change. Adjunct Faculty aren't acknowledged for their work. School is so focused on Neasc it seems to be losing sight of its mission. School seems to becoming more of a business. Students pay tuition, therefore they pass.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get to know your faculty and staff. Turnover is getting kind of high. If turnover is high by design, just tell us and encourage us to go. If it is not high by design. Acknowledge that we exist and that we perform a service to the school.

I worked at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Institute truly committed to helping individuals at risk find a path to gainful employment, better life and path out of poverty

    Cons

Underfunded, dependent on student tuition to survive, controlling misogynist leadership and board that turns a blind eye to what is going on internally

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good luck undoing all of the terrible decisions of the board to enable a crippling leader while firing best leader they ever could have had

I have been working at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology

    Pros

There is nothing positive to say about this school, they are selfish and put more work on you and expect you to do a good job if you are trying to work for this school run as fast as you can and never look back. Do not work here you will regret it

    Cons

Upper management should try to know your employees and faculty, the school is turning into a business not a non profit school as they claim to be. Do not work here you will regret it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management should try to know your employees and faculty, you need to save the school because the school will not in business in the next few years if you keep this up.

Great Benefits Packages, Also have a nice group of people to work with, and great free tickets for the shows

    Cons

Upper Management Sucks, don't treat their staff well, Tell the employees things at the very last minute which is very unprofessional

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk to your employees more to find out how they are feeling, ask them questions to see what management or we as a team could be doing better
