Five different immediate supervisors in a seven year period of time. Three different presidents and three different vps.

ProsThe coworkers that I have. They are hard working and dedicated to providing their best efforts for the students.

ConsThe lack of financial, technical and other resources. The computers are old and in constant need of maintenance.

Advice to Senior ManagementSignifificantly cut down on the high percentage of turnover of both faculty and staff. Bennett is constantly training new faculty and staff to work at the organization. This is time consuming and expensive. The students lose because of the constant turnover of personnel. The accumulated knowledge of the personnel (that leave) is lost and has to be replaced by new hires. Make provisions to keep Bennett's most valuable and dedicated personnel. Provide more professional development opportunites for the faculty and staff. Keep the faculty and staff informed about changes which will have an impact on their jobs. Have more programs and provisions to motivate personnel and show them that their work is appreciated.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

My experience at Bennett College was horrible and humiliating.

ProsThe students are the only best reasons to work for this institution.

ConsThe downside of this institution is unfair treatment and leadership who spends more time in judging others on their personal feelings for them instead of the job performance that one performs.

Advice to Senior ManagementPersonal feelings and negative opinions about employees brings the morale of an organization down. The job is not about you, but is about the community that you are serving.

    Think twice before working here.

ProsBennett is a very safe environment. The campus police do a good job of protecting the school and are helpful.

ConsLow pay, little to no room for advancement. This place is way too top heavy for a school this size.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to think outside of the box. We can not continue to do business the way it was done in the 1950s.
