    I worked at Benson Design and Associates as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Modern office and leading edge equipment. Accommodating work hours and requests for time off. Helpful, knowledgeable and close-knit coworkers and management.

    Cons

    Was offered only contract work without benefits.

    Lots to do around here everyday and can not real have a down day

    I worked at Benson Design and Associates

    Pros

    easy job description, nice owners, good clientele, can be interesting work, fairly centrally located, no late hours, no travel

    Cons

    mom & pop company, only 4 employees in office- two of which are the married Owner & President, requires you to be a personal assistant as well as a traffic/account manager, irregular holidays off, President/Designer is not technically inclined and can become frustrate when you don't know how to, "fix it".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Look at how other companies run their small businesses and promote employee growth and loyalty. Hire a personal assistant/traffic manager and dedicate 1 person to Account Management, Socialize and loosen the bolts a little every now and then.
