Pros – It has been steady through good and bad times, care a great deal about the students

Cons – I wish there was a little more open with the inner workings, I feel not being open, they help feed the rumor mill

Pros – I love teaching the students!

Cons – Worst school system I have ever worked for, and I have worked six others in several different states.
All the principals care about is how they look on paper, not about the students. I love teaching and the only reason I am a teacher is because I love the children and it is my calling. Working for this district has turned me off on teaching. There are other countries close by Berkeley, work there not at Berkeley.

Pros – The district is small with only 4 highschools so consistency across the district is good. Teachers are very professional and have a real caring for their students and a desire to want them to succeed. Communication between various departments is also good - guidance supports the teachers and the administration provides for good working relationships between all parties.

Cons – Finances are somewhat limited nad technology is not evenly distributed among the departments but I suspect this is a problem in most schools.

Advice to Senior Management – Continue to listen to the teachers in the classroom.

Cons – bad kids, no real help from school on discipline

Advice to Senior Management – Give drivers complete control over who rides their bus, discipline etc
