I have been working at Best Buy part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good benefits if you get full time, set hours and breaks. Some upper management actually care about employees and are competent.

    Cons

Quality of employees and management is depressing, everyone seems to hate working and comes to work to socialize. Company restructures often leaving employees to figure out new jobs and departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not overlook the hard workers, if you see people socializing more than they are working do something about it. Part-timers are suffering through lack of hours, most are hard workers yet it's the full-timers doing nothing and reaping the benefits of 30+ hour work weeks.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
