    get a clear picture of your future

    Management (Current Employee)

    Prosgood steady paycheck, 401k, benefits. company is stable and has been around for 20+ years.
    small work groups give you a faimly atmosphere to work in. off on sundays and no late nights as
    compared to standard retail stores.

    Consconstant change of pay program. upper management often not open minded to input from employees. owners and upper management will praise you one day and talk poorly of you the next soley based on short term results. when a situation occurs, management is quick to ASSUME what the problem could be rather than of getting the facts. upper management overreacts to small situations and often under reacts to signaficant situations. upper management does not accecpt responsibilty for their actions for fear of looking bad to the owners.

    Advice to Senior Managementlisten to line employees. promote from within, develop your employees, don't keep hiring managers from competitors. use facts, not distorted personal feelings when making decisions.
    be fair with employees equally. while some managers are disicplined for infractions others (for the exact same infractions) are not, soley based on personal feelings. really take your time before formulating opinions regarding employees. your too quick to accecpt the word of an outsider instead of lisitening to your own employees, your overlooking good people for promotion, you think an outsider can do a better job, just because they talk a good game, you do not research their real performance history. when these people perform poorly after you hire them, the employee who is capable that you overlooked becomes demoralized and will begin searching for better oppurtunities.
