I have been working at Best Western full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Good Environment, Good Benefits, Satisfaction from Helping guests

    Cons

The work Ethic can be improved, management needs to improve on communication with employees, transmit culture to employees, and motivation.
Management runs around solving issues but employees are clueless as to what management is doing. Felt cut-off from the company, felt helpless at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The culture needs to be determined and maintained and talked about. Please include departmental meetings everyday to include employees on what is going on, and on department goals.
Felt there was no motivation from management to the employee, to continue, to excel, to pursue, to grow.
Lack of communication between management and employees, had no clue what they were up to, until it was in my face. Its a good company but management needs to work on a lot of stuff.

    Pros

None. Absolutely none. Rude. Staff is just as horrible as the management. Kitchen is disgusting. Not clean. Guests always complaining due to the uncleanliness

No one knows what's going on. Work a 13 hour shift, get paid for 2. Gratuity goes missing. Disorganized, unprofessional. Don't work here unless you prefer to work for free.
