I have been working at Bestbuy Mobile full-time for more than a year

I worked at Bestbuy Mobile full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Great employees, great discount . Ability to keep up on technology. There are many instances that best buy makes you feel like you are really important to the company. The training that they offer is top notch and they truly do care about keeping the company afloat. Some of their attempts are wasted however because they have inadequate management at most of their stores.
Cons – Discount is not what it used to be. Even when I got into the management sector, there were so many incompetent people that I couldn't handle it anymore. There was a lot of struggle for the company financially and it really shows through how they treat their employees. They outsource their HR department and if you have any issue at all be prepared to repeat your story multiple times to the same person that doesn't speak English. I personally believe in the benefits with outsourcing, but not on things like your HR department that you need to have someone that is fluent in your language to understand your situation and cultural differences.
Advice to Senior Management – Look at yourselves for problems not your employees

I worked at Bestbuy Mobile part-time for more than a year
Pros – Nice Discount on everyday accessories, access to unlimited technology, learning experiences
Cons – Clicky, must be "in" to get anywhere. Sometimes the hire incompetent people who have no experience but have connection. They promise to promote but never follow through. Pay is awful compared to the big ticket items that we sell. Everyone is considered part time even if you work full time hours, and part time people receive no benefits. Products are over priced therefore making them hard to sell.
Advice to Senior Management – Be on the same page across the board. Actually pay your employees and provide them with benefts instead of shorting them what they deserve. Train employees and promote growth.

I have been working at Bestbuy Mobile full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Pros were the People, Products, Promotions, Benefits. Bestbuy has always attempted to create a culture that facilitates peer accountability.
Cons – The cons were Lack of Support from area management, Unrealistic Expectations at the department lever, Staffing restrictions placed on new manager when attempting to staff their departments.
Advice to Senior Management – SMART Goals. When a store is 15-18% comp YOY yet 75% to goal there needs to be an adjustment of budget made from leadership.

I have been working at Bestbuy Mobile part-time for more than a year
Pros – Pay as part-time was better than most places
Cons – Scheduling would be completely wacky. Most sales associates are part timers, and you have to put in 10 years to get into management. They'll schedule you for four hours or less, making the better pay not really worth it.
