    Pros

Keeps employees updated in what's going on. Employees retention is great but that keeps you from getting a position because employees would stay at the same job for decades.

    Cons

Some management needs more education on how to talk to people

    Pros

The staff appeared to be friendly. Decent benefits and pay.

    Cons

Management only cares about what the patient says regardless of validity or reasoning. High turnover. Tons of new nurses not necessarily trained well.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees and evaluate "complaints" as valid or not.

    Pros

    No pros filthy dirty hospital.

    Cons

Worked in ICU where good nurses leave and the dead wood stays. RN's treated poorly, asked to empty linen and garbage and wash IV poles and medical equipment (taking away from patient care). The managers need to go back to college for BSN (only have associates degrees). No doctors in ICU at night in emergency you may die because no MD available. I would not allow a family member to go to this hospital. Feel sorry for Baptist for merging with them. This hospital does not like to spend money for improvements. This could be a textbook example of how not to run a hospital..

    Advice to Management

Go back to school or maybe go to a good hospital and take notes.
