Former Employee - Design Engineer (MTB) in Pune (India)

I worked at Bharat Forge full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I worked in Machine Tool Buiding department, where I learn few core machine tool design skills, which are no of use for any profession & career.

    Cons

Abusing all employees is the only task & skill of all managers, senior managers & directors. No scope for younger generation because there is no importance for good skills, knowledge, dedication & hardwork. Only age in numbers is important. I had chance to attend meeting with BN Kalyani (CEO). He has no sense about how to speak & behave in well manner with employees. It was complete disgusting speech.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is important that everyone (including TOP level directors) must learn to speak & behave in good manner with all employees. And all seniors must have good understanding with young graduate engineers, because youngsters are future.

I have been working at Bharat Forge as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

We were given lot of scope to improve our potential, many opportunities were given to us to improve our leadership skills, communication skills and research skills. many responsibilities were given to us to handle. Seniors were always encouraging. Senior management is very serious and regularly monitor progress of intern.

    Cons

As the organization is huge it becomes really difficult for a intern to learn and understand each process of HR in detail and work with each department independently.
