    Pros

lot of perks of being in a PSU. You get lot of respect if you are a core engineering fellow. as a fresher you are made to work a lot which leads to your growth.

    Cons

certainly not a place for Computer Science grads. you are left to survive as a service department. you may find many incompetitive people around you.

    Advice to Management

please check regularly with employees about their experience.

    Pros

Benefits are well above the industry...secondly they will promptly give your dues in case you have separated from the organozation.which is brilliant..enjoyed the company of some truly honest and helpful people, unfortunately they were not given the position in the organization which they deserve...

    Cons

Politics...inefficient, unkind and corrupt people in higher management, the Junior officers are treated as some kind of perpetual work machine leading to negative work life balance

    Advice to Management

Dismiss corrupt officers at once...create healthy culture amongst employees...give people promotions as soon as it is due...and most importantly give power to honest people...

    Pros

Workload at most times of the year in the IT department is minimal. The 9-6 timing typical of a PSU is adhered to mostly

Availability of loans for various commodities like cars, motorcycles, furniture etc. on confirmation as an employee.

Bonds which are typical of PSU are absent.

    Cons

    No incentive based pay.

When workload increases, adequate rest period and incentives are not given. It becomes like working for a Private company without any extra pay. Overtime pay, if any is a pittance.

Promotion is fixed regardless of the mettle of the employee. This claim is refuted by HR department of the company, but the fact is that seniority holds sway, and not potential.

Pay hikes are invisible. Even after working for two years, there has hardly been a increase of a few thousand bucks to the gross pay.

    Advice to Management

Kindly take the employees aptitude and are of interest into account before assigning them roles which may cause slight setbacks to their growth.
