the industry has a saturated market it is hard to compete with a premium product when consumers are buying strictly on price. The company could do a better job forecasting and staffing appropriately. They also coddle employees and let the sales team dominate decision making

Team better to build high performance teams, get back to value based decision making processes, continue innovating, don't let current financial realities dictate how you run your long term business.
