I have been working at BiddingForGood full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Company is filled with genuinely nice and smart people. It's a pleasure to work on tasks and projects with others. Management cares about the employees and tries to help them succeed and grow. They also offer flexibility when life requires it. People work hard, but there is a good work-life balance.

The company is dynamic and there are always interesting projects to work on. Input is welcome and opportunities for getting involved are abundant. Everyone gets the opportunity to wear many hats. Event though it's a small company, many people are able to advance their careers here.

    Cons

The downside of wearing many hats is that you may get stuck working on things you have no interest in. It is a small company so career advancement can be hit or miss.

If you're mainly focused on pay and benefits, they are decent, but not on par with what larger companies offer.

    Pros

You'll work with a group of people who are interested in helping others and making a difference in the world. What you do each day does have a positive impact. The company culture is welcoming and you're definitely part of a team.

    Cons

You'll be expected to take on a lot of extra responsibilities because it's a small company. Depending on your role this may mean more hours, more duties, or both.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep your doors open and remember to check in with your employees about their career goals.

    Pros

There are not many jobs where you can make a good living & feel like YOU are making an impact on the world. BiddingForGood sees fun, humor and relaxation not as the enemies of hard work, but as its allies. Management team (including CEO) are transparent and actively seek out ideas and act on the good ones!

    Cons

You work hard which means long hours. If your not willing to role up your sleeves and work - this is not the place for you. This is a company that understands the need for a strong work/life balance and has your back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the hard work.
