I have been working at Big Orange Productions as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy work and you can sign up for specific jobs your interested in. You may not get the promo. Sometimes there are a lot of promos back to back and then there are slow times. I have been with them since 2012.

    Cons

Sometimes you have to send paperwork in several times and pay takes longer than the "within 30 days"

I worked at Big Orange Productions as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Don't have to take a job you don't want, easy to do job requirements. There aren't very many pros to these kind of jobs

    Cons

Poor management, they don't give instructions, paperwork, or contact person at job site. They job site I went to didn't even I was going to show up. After driving 40 miles to a site, they wanted me to return to get the signature of someone who wasn't even present when I was there ergo I didn't get paid.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give instructions, contact person and paperwork before a job.

I have been working at Big Orange Productions as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

They have flexible schedule, jobs are posted on a regularl basis. You don't need much experience to be hired, and great pay for work done.

    Cons

Work is inconstant unless you are very flexible, bookings are usually last minute and you are not notified if you did not get booked

I have been working at Big Orange Productions full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great people, good work environment, Incentives for doing great work. You need more money, work hard and earn it! Compensation is certainly a positive for here, its all in the hands of the person.

    Cons

Work life is hard to balance but partly my own fault, there is always something to be done, which is also kind of a good thing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Just keep developing your people.

I worked at Big Orange Productions as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great for Freelance work, booking is gig to gig, fun environment, meet lots of great people. You get a chance to work with many different, reputable brands, which is a great experience for networking and resume building. Professional atmosphere.

    Cons

Paid 6-8 weeks after gig. Booking is gig to gig, no job stability. Rarely a travel or gas stipend. No overnight accommodations when travel is needed. I-9 form so you'll have to take your own taxes out.
