I worked at Bill Me Later full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone was nice. The perks were good. Plenty of room for growth. My favorite part was the customer support training program. I left the company early for other reasons.

    Cons

I can't think of many bad things about working in this position. You do not have any free-time to mess around on the computer, but after a while I found that to be a good thing.

    Advice to Management

    No advice.

I worked at Bill Me Later full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only pros I have are the good benefits

    Cons

Nothing more than a high tech sweat shop. They will watch you like a hawk and when your numbers look bad you are gone. The fun environment is just for show and they will hire anybody who can type and navigate the internet. There is no dress code at all and many look like they just got out of bed. If you are a mature and profesional adult then just stay away.

    Advice to Management

If you don't trust people then don't hire them.

    Pros

The product gives an interesting spin on online shopping experience The underlying technologies are promising and the aggressive marketing efforts seem to pay off

    Cons

The politics of the middle managers that stop at nothing to blame each other prevent a good flow of communication among employees. A lot of firefighting in the infrastructure and operations teams mean regular all-nighters.

    Advice to Management

The disconnect between strategy and execution need to be addressed and the fiefdoms that are bottlenecks in operations must be neutralized an dismantled

    Pros

great product concept but poor execution

    Cons

poorly managed political questionable compensation policies i know someone who sued the company for gender and pay discrimination and won the case!

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees who have made you all millionaires. Do not blow them off. Get off of your high-horse "holyier than thou" attitudes.
