Pros
The managing staff is really flexible and willing to work around your schedule which is important when going to school full-time.
Cons
Sometimes hard to balance with full-time school.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the great work! :)
Pros
laidback, flexible, fun, if you are new to the city this is a fast way to meet new people. it's easy to get hired.
Cons
not enough communication, no direct answers, injustice, no room for advancement, poor pay, disrespect from management, raises are hard to acquire even if you've put in the time, if you leave or are fired expect personal resentment or hostility. as far as pay goes, the employees at this store have to be the cheapest paid within the neighborhood. pay does not compensate for the amount of work you endure. you end up taking on everyone else jobs and drama if you are not careful. the turnover rate in retail is already ridiculous as it is, but here it's beyond.
Advice to Senior Management
be more direct. & by direct i don't mean partying with your employees. be more consistent. & by consistent i don't mean sleeping with your employees.
Pros
Great Friends to make overall
Cons
Pays crappy like not enough to live in NYC
Advice to Senior Management

Advice to Senior Management
Temp jobs offer opportunities for you to build on your network, attend training events, conduct informational interviews and even, when appropriate, enhance your social life with all the new coworkers you meet. Approach your temp experience as an opportunity to shine. Many regular employees see temps as people who don’t really care or who may even make their jobs harder. Show that you are willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. Offer to assist with projects to demonstrate your skills. This will help if you are later being considered for a permanent position.
