    Pros

Overall a good company to work for. Good benifits, fair compensation and decent quality of life benefits like vacation, personal time, stock option etc..

    Cons

The commission structure was always being changed. A very nepotistic environment, if you underperformed and were in the right crowd you were untouchable regardless. Unable to be competitive with product pricing was a frequent issue.

    Advice to Management

To be proactive rather than reactive. Be more reactive to local market climate. Management more concerned about their golden parachute than actually being productive and adding to overall profitability of the organization.

    Pros

Friendly people, buy jewelry at discount.

    Cons

No room for advancement, too much favoritism, senior level lacks direction or common sense, no bonus for corporate employees or raises. Way too many chiefs and not enough indians....

    Advice to Management

Learn to communicate, direct and manage senior level before trying to manage everyone else!

    Pros

Potential of earning money if clients get approved for credit.

    Cons

Posting and holding sales for a later date for events. Unrealistic goals when managers are competing for sales. Store directors are paid way too much and really don't contribute to sales. Poor leadership from managers. A disruptive, uncomfortable, " work" environment if you work in the office at a store. Female managers and directors contribute to gossip and unprofessionalism.

    Advice to Management

Management refuses to listen to good business advice. Unable to retain educated and talented college graduates due to the snails at corporate office who are there because of " tight relationships " with other execs. Stop going to the strip bars.

    Pros

Very intelligent team members - peers, bonus will never happen however senior management has a lot of perks and employees don't, best part of going to work was the people

    Cons

Difficult financial situation, at risk for layoffs

    Advice to Management

Split corporate functions into Florida and Canada, for focus by company

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Take care of your store managers... They generally work harder than the store directors

    Pros

located downtown, discount to buy jewellery.

    Cons

Bad management, favouritism, no perspective of growth, minimum wages, bad work conditions.
If you think there are anything luxurious about working there, forget about it.

    Pros

A good company to get started in the luxury jewelry industry
    Gives sufficient training

    Cons

Store director at the time was a psycho, she constantly yells and throws stuff around and just makes life very stressful and miserable
Very few people nowadays knows about them, yet their stuff is not cheap either, so it makes selling there more difficult. They were once a Canadian company but has been bought out by an American company, but don't think that matters much.
The pay is minimum wage, it's not even close to what other jewelry place is paying right now for the amount of work involved on a daily basis

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with respect, they deserve a higher wage because they need to at least be able to pay their bills!
