Pros
good work culture.
good learning curve.
Cons
i had worked at agile methodology also and i feel if "you" are the one who wants to work all the time join a company where you get to work on agile terms, and Birlasoft was not following it when I was there.
But to be honest, it was really fun working in Birlasoft.
Advice to Senior Management
i might not have any, i was a campus hired boy there and i simply loved working there.
Pros
1. You can get good pay if you bargain
2. You can find some good friends
3. Some people in management are good but they are rare
Cons
1. Worst higher management
2. No HR involvement with the employees; they are just monkeys in the hand of management
3. Work done is never appreciated
4. Politics and politics
5. Immediate managers are generally fools here; good one already left
6. Finance dept will try its best to give you minimum paycheck but you will get on schedule
7. You will not get a single penny extra; it’s very rare
8. Here we have managers who call you in midnight and tell u to come office to handle a stupid internal issue
9. Growth opportunities - forget it if you don't dance with your manager
10. Manager they never take the ownership; just keep on giving on throwing their work to their subordinates.
this list is very long............................................. BirlaSoft has gone down to a very low level since Yr 2002-2005 when it was shining like a star
Advice to Senior Management
1. Stop writing emails and start doing some constructive work.
2. the most important assets of an outsourcing company is their clients and employees. Start maintaining them.
3. Hiring people in management will not solve any issues when you don't have much work. Most of them are just white elephants.

The workk environment is good. You dont have much of politics going on with this company.The leadership should be improved and employee should be recognized with their work, expertise and dedication for the organisation.
Cons
The skills are supressed.Leadership of the company is not that good.The employees are not treated with their choices, sometimes they are forced to do what they dont want to. there are not much of good project with this company and you might land up with some project which dumps your career. So its bit bad to work with such a company where your views are not taken into account.
