Pros
great place to work overall
Cons
not much to learn on the technical side
Pros
People are nice and easy going and its generally a good place to work for a short period of time. Good amount of days off, casual office.
Cons
Lack of Communication and disorganization reign supreme. For a company its size it could benefit being more dynamic but is surprisingly rigid. The turn over is high because certain departments are clearly valued over others and the compensation is less than satisfactory. When you don't feel valued by the company at large and upper management doesn't communicate with you the team cant help but feel complacent and disconnected.
Sadly you shouldn't expect any substantial salary increase or even dream of a promotion. This place could be awesome but some simple things don't get addressed and it seems as though management doesn't really seam to care.
Advice to Senior Management
Communicate! Everyone is kept in dark about everything leading people to feel alienated from the company!
Compensate People Fairly! Great talent is walking out the door everyday because compensation is better elsewhere!
Pros
-Super friendly coworkers (a very rare thing in the fashion industry sadly)
-Approachable senior management/human resources manager
-Numerous company activities that foster team building (i.e. cook offs, weight lost challenges, team competitions, workshops, etc)
-Direct feedback from managers
-Always encouraged to take vacation/sick days
Cons
-Senior level staff rarely leave making it difficult to get promoted (however same can't be said for raises so it might not be such a bad thing)
