pto only based on hourly not commission
management only looks out for themselves
Advice to Senior Management
Keep training standardized so employees know exactly what is expected of them no matter how management changes. Don't bend rules for the better reps. No matter how many sales they make, they still need to be honest and subjected to sales alerts and write ups.
Pros
1.The pay was good, especially for me considering I had no sales experience
2.30 hours a week is considered full-time for benefits and such
3.Get to talk with and meet new people/customers all the time
Cons
1.This is a company that does NOT care at all for its employees, I constantly went above and beyond to accomadate customers and the company (great customer service, and constantly worked last minute overtime when other employees would flake). I was rewarded by constantly being told EVERYTHING that I was doing wrong, I think I received positive feedback once...I was told that I was the best employee my manager had so trust me when I say this was not due to me being a poor worker or anything.
2.You have to work every weekend, if you ask for one off BEWARE!!
3.I quit this job and was texted by my manager telling me how pathetic I was, sorry but that makes him pathetic not to mention extremely unprofessional!
Advice to Senior Management
Yes as a company you have to treat your customers right, but this doesn't mean treating your employees like they are all liars and worthless.
Pros
A lot of people dislike Blue Green but than I talk I have talked to people that love
Cons
Have to handly a lot of no sales and people saying no and I mean a lot
Advice to Senior Management
More training
Pros
The company has a fair commission plan. If you can make sales and keep cancellations down you can earn a decent wage.
Cons
There is a constant turnover of both staff and management. Plus, and it is a retail enviroment, you work every weekend which is difficult.
Advice to Senior Management
When I worked there it seemed the acceptable script changed frequently. About the time we would have success with one format it would change. Then there would be complaints about number of sales. Stick with a method.
